Why the Interest in Jeeps?

As a teenager getting out in the country to hunt or fish was done in the family auto. Some of my best memories are those of getting stuck or breaking parts when trying to do things a family car was never meant to do. Many years later, when living in Colorado, the "Jeep" feeling took hold. It was the off-highway trips to ghost towns that got me passionate about all things Jeep. My first Jeep was a 1991 Cherokee and it took me places I'd never see any other way. This feeling is shared by many, which is why you will find this slogan only on a Jeep:

"It's a Jeep thing, you won't understand."

Jeeps and Dogs

Next to a dog, a Jeep is man's best friend.

Inside a dog, it is too dark to drive.

Instant Friends

Joining me on my Jeep'n trips are many other people, who because of our mutual interest, are all friends. It doesn't matter what you drive, how good you drive it, what you do for a living, or where you live; the people who participate in this sport are great people!
